Duffy Performs ‘Mercy’
Wednesday, June 11, 2008
Here’s a great video of Duffy singing her hit Mercy. I love the retro sound. Doesn’t seem a mess like Amy Winehouse... don’t get me wrong, I love Amy Winehouse, but… Anyway, enjoy!

Free Streaming Radio: KEXP 90.3 FM

Where the music matters
KEXP 90.3 FM is a listener-supported college radio station broadcast by the University of Washington. The rotation features a wildly eclectic mix of music from a few artists you’ve heard of, and many you have not. The music here is cream of the crop, I find myself frequently scrambling to check the online playlist after hearing a great tune to find the artist’s name. The chatter is very sparse, with no DJ-style gimmicks, contests, or other fluff… it’s just good music. The best part is that it’s all offered through a variety of free streams including Windows Media, Real, Shoutcast, and uncompressed CD-quality Windows Media Stream (my favorite).
Oh and by the way, there’s a free Song of the Day podcast. The music served here is great, and better yet it’s delivered as a DRM-free MP3!
